About

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I’m Keren Fite. I hold a PhD in English Literature, specializing in English and American Women’s Literature. I also have an MSW in Social Work, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness as a way to reduce stress and as a way of life . I’m also an independent scholar, researching writing processes and life narratives.

I give lectures on various topics in the humanities and social sciences. As a therapist I work with clients who cope with depression and anxiety and offer face to face meetings and also meetings via zoom.

In this blog I write about literature, life narratives, cultural narratives, Jewish holidays and a feminist interpretation of Torah portion (parashat shavu’a).
